Our Misson
Our primary goal is to ensure that all women have equal access to midwifery services and are aware of their maternity care choices. We will continuously strive to reach out to women and families in order to provide holistic care that is respectful of the cultures, religions and personal values of our diverse populations. We believe that by enabling women to become active decision-makers, we empower them to take control of their health.
How To Work with us
Step 1: Complete Client Registration Form
- To access the Client Registration form, select the “Request Care” section in the main menu above.
- Complete the online Registration form.
- Fully complete all 3 sections of the online Registration Form and review the Terms and Conditions before submitting the Form to our team for review.
Step 2: Join Our Waitlist
- Your registration details will automatically be placed on our waiting list in the order they are submitted.
- Please note that submitting multiple forms will not improve your position on the waiting list; instead, it will move your placement further down.
- Once on the list, your application will be triaged based on your eligibility for midwifery care and your location within our catchment area
Step 3: Application Review Process
- After your application is reviewed, we’ll contact you if a spot becomes available for you to join our care.
- If you haven’t heard from us, it simply means we currently do not have space available.
Step 4: AMMA Midwives will contact you to receive care.
- You will receive a phone call to discuss midwifery care.
- You will be given time to decide if midwifery care is for you (timing will depend on a case-by-case scenario).
- If you accept care, we will book an initial appointment with one of our midwives within 2 weeks to complete your history and physical.
What our clients Are Saying
I had a great experience with AMMA Midwives! We were under the care of Hanan and I cannot thank her enough for the exceptional care and support she provided throughout my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum journey. She took the time to answer all my questions and never rushed appointments. During the day of labour, her calm, reassuring presence and expertise made all the difference along with Salima - I truly felt safe and supported every step of the way. The front desk staff were also great and responsive! I appreciated the appointment reminders and follow up whenever I called/emailed the clinic.

I cannot express enough gratitude to AMMA Midwives, especially to Hannan, for their exceptional care during and after my childbirth experience. Hannan's attentiveness and kindness were truly remarkable, making me feel supported and safe throughout. The personalized care and professional guidance I received were invaluable, and I am so thankful for the expertise and compassion shown by Hannan and the entire team at AMMA Midwives. I highly recommend AMMA Midwives to anyone seeking compassionate and expert care during their pregnancy and beyond. Thank you again for everything!

I found out about Amma midwives through my sister in law. I heard about her experience and it was great. So, I decided to have a midwife on my first pregnancy which was 8 years ago! That’s when I first met Salimah. She was the midwife that took care of me with all my three pregnancies. She’s very supportive, caring and knowledgeable. I love being under her care all throughout my pregnancy, labour and delivery. If I would have a fourth child, I would definitely go to Amma midwives and request for Salimah or Hanan. Their care is superb. Thank you so much Salimah and Amma midwives for taking care of me during my pregnancies. I will never forget this wonderful experience I had. :
