WHY AMMA?
Amma, meaning ‘mother’ in many languages, is comprised of midwives who are passionate about working with women and families from all cultural groups. All of our midwives are registered with the College of Midwives of Ontario, and are members of the Association of Ontario Midwives.
ABOUT OUR CLINIC
You will find our clinic to be comfortable, welcoming and friendly. We love what we do and you see that reflected in the time, care and compassion our midwives give to you and your family.
The diversity of our midwives reflects the community we serve and we want to ensure that you receive culturally competent, and evidence-based clinical care throughout your pregnancy, labour and delivery and postpartum care.
Our midwives can support you in giving birth either at home or in the hospital. For hospital births, we deliver our clients at Etobicoke General Hospital.

OUR MISSION
Our primary goal is to ensure that all women have equal access to midwifery services and are aware of their maternity care choices. We will continuously strive to reach out to women and families in order to provide a holistic care that is respectful of the cultures, religions and personal values of our diverse populations. We believe that by enabling women to become active decision makers, we are empowering them to take control of their health.
